P2P2 on the Loom...

The warp and the weft are both rayon boucle...maybe the red/pink/orange weft was too much?  50 inches done, 20 to go.

Finished...Glacier Bay Scarf (5/2 and 8/2 tencel) and Cashmere lap blanket. (Cashmere 8-ply Lhasa from Lisa Souza, colorway Mother-of-Pearl.)

Great colours in that warp. I particularly like the dark green - seems to ground the other more frivolous colours!

I really like how you have explored the colours from photos to weave. Got me re-thinking my p2p2 approach. Thank you!

HI. I'm considering buying either a W-30 or a Klik from Louet. (Yep, they don't make either anymore, but I know where I can get 1.)

Really interested in your reactions to the W-30. How much warp can you put on it? Can you really tension the warp highly? The mechanism to raise & lower the harnesses seems a bit flimsy to me - do you find it sturdy enough? What else can you tell me about your work with this loom?

THANKS!

I'm considering buying either a w-30 or klik Louet loom (neither currently made, but I have a source to get either). I'm interested in your info about the w-30. What's the widest & longest warp you've put on? Can you really tighten that warp up? Do you find the mechanism to lift & lower the shaft to be strong enough? (Seems a bit flimsy to me.) What do you like best about this loom? Dislike most?

Thanks for your help!
